Alina Vacariu is an actress and model. Among other work, she was Romania's Model of the Year in 1998. She has traveled the world, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South America posing in skimpy lingerie and bare-to-there bathing suits. She's also worked the runways of the world's hottest designers and steamed up the Abercrombie & Fitchcatalog. She made a cameo in the 2005 indie comedy Death of a Dynasty.

Born in a small town about 300 kilometers from the Romanian capital Bucharest, Alina Vacariu got a very early start in modeling carrier when she won her first pageant at the local high school. The beautiful teenage soon landed low-key modeling gigs, which ultimately led to her appearance in several national television spots for various commercial products and services. In 1998, she was chosen as Romania's Model of the Year, which earned her the opportunity to represent the country at the Miss World contest in Puerto Rico. Stopping in New York with her agent on the way to the high-profile international competition, Alina opted out of the Miss World pageant after signing an agreement with the prestigious agency Elite Model Management, and began working almost immediately.

With her hot looks and even hotter body, she quickly became a very in-demand swimsuit and lingerie model, appearing in the Abercrombie & Fitch and Victoria's Secret catalogs, as well as in campaigns for Bebe, Bianchi, Clairol, and Stella Artois. She also has graced the runway for top designers such as Jessica McClintock, Jim Hjelm Couture, John Frieda, and Robert Musso, and appeared in boiling hot photo spreads for Stuff and Maxim. She hoped one day to become a successful actress, and made her debut playing a female escort in the 2005 mockumentary rap Death of a Dynasty, which also featured Lorraine Bracco, Chloe Sevigny and Flavor Flav. She most recently played in the "Roommate Wanted" TV commercial for Time Warner Cable.
